As the title suggests, yes, The Runaway Ruby Soho is among the select few who will be advancing in the TBS Championship Tournament. Soho has been nearly unstoppable since her AEW All Out debut when she won the returning AEW Women's Casino Battle Royale. While her championship bout against the current AEW Women's Champion didn't go the way she may have wanted, Ruby Soho has found several silver linings therein and she vows to not be deterred. Ruby Soho has made it known that she is setting her sights on becoming the first ever TBS Champion in AEW.
It's no secret that quite a few former WWE Superstars go through a period of soul-searching after their release. Taking time to figure out what if anything went wrong. Where they fit now in the grand scheme of things in this industry. The questions of what next? Why me? Where d I go from here? All hard but necessary questions for growth, opportunity, and the journey of reaching your fullest potential as a star in this business. These were all looming questions that Ruby Soho herself had to conquer and they led her to where she is now, a major player in the AEW Women's Division!
Fresh off of a big win over Penelope Ford, Ruby Soho will be advancing in the TBS Tournament and is one step closer to her goal. I couldn't be more proud. Seeing this woman's gumption and tenacity is nothing short of amazing. Incredible even. Her bounce back was admirable and I know it wasn't easily done. Her humble attitude is inspiring and honestly that's a road more should take if not for the proverbial view alone. And of course her ability to find a positive out of a negative. Sometimes you have to dig really deep but I promise there's always a positive if we remain open and determined enough to find it, and that's exactly what Ruby Soho did after her disappointing loss to Dr. Britt Baker, DMD.
Thus far Ruby Soho will among some stiff competition in AEW's Women's Divisions. So far she has made it to the same brackets as Nyla Rose, Kris Statlander, and Hikaru Shida. Ruby Soho herself is set to square off against Kris Statlander as The Beast Nyla Rose takes on Hikaru Shida after a vicious attack post match by Serena Deeb. Things are definitely getting dodgy as the competition intensifies and January 5th approaches. As I'm writing this we are still waiting on first round matches from The Bunny versus Red Velvet with the winner taking on Jade Cargill, and Anna Jay versus Jamie Hayter with the winner taking on Thunder Rosa.
Speaking from experience, as I have wrestled against and partnered with both ladies, I know Thunder Rosa versus Ruby Soho would be one hell of a finals match up for the TBS Championship on January 5th 2022. Stay tuned and don't miss weekly episodes of AEW Dynamite and AEW Rampage. Ruby Soho is coming for it all and she won't be giving in any time soon! As I always say, "all you need is love, guts, and gumption. Self-love to realize that you and your dreams matter. Guts to go after your dream believing in yourself when no one else will while maintaining your integrity. And the gumption to see it all through while cheering for yourself in the silence letting your success be your noise…"
Ruby Soho - Here's to you and all that you will accomplish in this next chapter!
