Former ECW star Yoshihiro Tajiri announced this weekend that he's ended his latest run with WWE.
"The Japanese Buzzsaw" posted to Twitter that his knee injury has ruled him out for a WWE return. At the age of 46, WWE's doctors didn't feel comfortable clearing him. Tajiri injured the knee at a set of January NXT tapings and never returned to TV.
Tajiri, who originally returned for last year's Cruiserweight Classic, also would go on to appear for NXT and 205 Live. During his injury, he would coach at the WWE Performance Center.
The Japanese star thanked William Regal and Triple H for the opportunity and stated that he had no regrets in signing with WWE.
