Don Callis is ready to get rid of The Elite.
At the Double Or Nothing pay-per-view, Konosuke Takeshita stormed the ring and attacked Kenny Omega in the final moments of the Anarchy In The Arena match between The Elite and the Blackpool Combat Club. This was a shocking moment to many fans, as Takeshita had seemingly been on The Elite's side of the war in recent weeks.
In a promo on the May 31 episode of AEW Dynamite, Callis broke down his new alliance with Takeshita and noted that he's the greatest athlete he's ever seen. 'The Invisible Hand' went on to note that Takeshita is better than legends like Keiji Muto, Kazuchika Okada, and even Kenny Omega himself.
Callis ended his promo noting that he has started a new family with Konosuke Takeshita, and that he plans to use that new family to cut The Elite out of All Elite Wrestling.
"We will destroy #TheELITE, we will destroy KENNY OMEGA."@TheDonCallis and @takesoup address the crowd amidst a deafening sea of boos.
