Toma Tonga bids farewell.
Toma Tonga lost the NEVER Openweight Championship to EVIL in the main event of NJPW New Beginning in Nagoya.
After the match, Tama took a bow at the top of the stage, saying goodbye to the NJPW audience. He is still scheduled to compete during the Road to New Beginning Tour until the end of January.

Tama stated after Wrestle Kingdom 18 that January would be his final month in NJPW.
Tama won the NEVER Openweight Title at Wrestle Kingdom 18 by defeating Shingo Takagi. Tama made his NJPW debut in 2010. He won the IWGP Tag Team Championships seven times, the NEVER Openweight Championship four times, and the NEVER Openweight Six Man Tag Team Championships four times.
