Now that The Good Brothers are in IMPACT Wrestling, Tama Tonga is hopeful for a working arrangement between New Japan Pro-Wrestling and IMPACT Wrestling.
Upon arriving in IMPACT Wrestling on Saturday, July 18th, 2020, The Good Brothers, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson have made the rounds speaking about they're WWE release, the potential of them going to AEW, and what they want to see now that they are with IMPACT.
Both Gallows and Anderson have been very outspoken about their desires to work with New Japan Pro-Wrestling again, both made their name and that promotion as original members of the Bullet Club. Another original Bullet Club name, Tama Tonga recently spoke to Sportskeeda expressing his desire to see IMPACT and New Japan work together once more.
IMPACT and NJPW had a brief working agreement in the past back in the days of TNA Wrestling and New Japan reportedly still has a bad taste in their mouth regarding the time spent working together with IMPACT.
IMPACT’s parent company, Anthem Sports, recently purchased AXS TV, the current home of IMPACT on Tuesday nights, and the former home for many years of New Japan Pro-Wrestling in the United States of America.
Tama was optimistic when asked by Sportskeeda how he felt about a potential partnership with IMPACT.
"I think it would be great! I think it would be great to get... Let's bring our product out here to the States. It would be great to have a platform to share that."
He continued, "We used to be on AXS, we used to have a regular thing here, but I think with the situation, the world situation, and things kind of taking a turn, I think it would be a good relationship for both. Having the Good Brothers there, someone we trust that worked with us before, that understands New Japan, the ins and outs, could really facilitate things like these and I think it would be great altogether. I would love that."
Gallows and Anderson also recently spoke to Fightful, you can check out the full interview at this link.
