Taylor Wilde is back in IMPACT Wrestling, but she had other opportunities while she waited.
Wilde's return to IMPACT was delayed due to COVID and visa issues, but during her time on the sidelines, along with during her weekly Wilde On podcast, Wilde had the chance to star in Dark Side of the Ring, but not as one of the subjects.
Speaking on Wilde On, Wilde revealed she was asked to play Shari Tyree, the Ultimate Warrior's first wife for the episode centered around the former WWF Championship.
"Like anything in life, you can have multiple opportunities show up at the same time after long periods of stagnation. While I was waiting for my visa to get approved, I got the opportunity from VICE TV and Dark Side of the Ring to play the wife, Shari Tyree, of the Ultimate Warrior. The focus of that documentary is the story told from her perspective because she is the surviving member of the two as he passed away. That would have been an incredible opportunity, but it wasn't my goal. My goal was to wrestle again for IMPACT Wrestling," said Wilde.
Wilde returned to IMPACT Wrestling at IMPACT Rebellion.
The Ultimate Warrior episode of Dark Side of the Ring is set to premiere on May 27.
