Taylor Wilde is back in the ring for IMPACT Wrestling, but she has her eye on a certain NXT talent.
On her Wilde On podcast, Taylor documented her return to IMPACT in audio form, releasing mini diaries of the months leading up to her return at IMPACT Rebellion.
During the diaries, Wilde revealed she had been watching NXT and one woman, in particular, stood out to her.
"I've been binging the shit out of NXT. I saw a few YouTube matches, just portions, of Io Shirai and I was in love. She is an incredible athlete and incredible wrestler, absent of gender. She is just amazing. I'm watching these full matches and, oh my god, I wanna be like Io Shirai when I grow up. She is definitely my dream opponent. I don't know if I have it in me, but that is my ultimate goal, to have a match against Io Shirai," she said.
Shirai last wrestled at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, losing the NXT Women's Championship to Raquel Gonzalez.
Wilde is set to team with Tenille Dashwood to battle Susan And Kimber Lee at IMPACT Under Siege.
