Seth Rollins And Becky Lynch Attend Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions Game

The following is an excerpt from the press release by Ring of Honor.

Beer City Bruiser impressed both fans and New Japan officials alike when he made his Japanese debut on the Honor Rising Tour this past February. Particularly of note was Bruiser admirably competing on short notice following the announcement that ROH World Champion Dalton Castle’s World Championship contender Beretta was severely injured and that a standby opponent would be scheduled. Bruiser, who had already won his match earlier that evening, was added to the bout and nearly left Japan the World Champion!

ROH and NJPW officials left Japan impressed and now, on the first joint tour following Honor Rising, Bruiser gets his opportunity to prove himself once more against a man that has headlined Wrestle Kingdom inside the Tokyo Dome and has held the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, Naito!

BEER CITY BRUISER vs. NAITO

It will be a clash of styles when a veteran looks to make a name for himself against one of the unquestionable best in the world in Toronto when the Beer City Bruiser takes on Los Ingobernables de Japon’s Naito in one-on-one action in a first-time bout!

Naito is one of the most accomplished stars in New Japan today, having held not only the IWGP Heavyweight Championship but also the IWGP Intercontinental Championship twice, Heavyweight Tag Team Championships twice, as well as winning the G1 Climax twice and New Japan Cup once! Naito has been one of the world’s biggest stars for the greater part of the last decade which makes Beer City Bruiser’s singles opportunity that much bigger!

Naito and the Beer City Bruiser will meet in a six-man tag team match earlier on the tour. The Toronto card will also feature Cody Rhodes and Jushin Liger in a match and two other members of Los Ingobernables de Japon in Evil and Sanada in tag team action. The card will be broadcasted on the Honor Club streaming service
