Thea Hail Says She'll Be A Fighting Champion If She Beats Roxanne Perez At NXT Great American Bash

Thea Hail is ready to face Roxanne Perez.

Hail is set to challenge Perez for the NXT Women's Championship at the NXT Great American Bash, which is the theme for the July 30 edition of WWE NXT. This match will take place exactly one year after Hail challenged Tiffany Stratton for the title at the Great American Bash premium live event in 2023.

While speaking to Pittsburgh City Paper for a new interview, Hail said that she's very enthusiastic and energetic for the match.

“I'm very enthusiastic, very energetic, and very unhinged. I need to take a moment just to breathe and think a little bit more on this match and have a game plan, more so than I normally do. I'm very spastic. I got to go in a little focused and get my head in the game.”

Hail went on to say that she'll be a fighting champion if she knocks off Roxanne Perez.

"The whole overarching message of Chase U is just never settle and always strive to be better than you were yesterday,” Hail says. “Even if I get the title, I want to be able to sit and be a fighting champion, and I want to be able to prove that I got it, and that I can keep it and also show everyone that I appreciate their support.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Hail talked about how Thunder Rosa got her into contact with a recruiter from WWE. Learn more about those comments here.
