Tiffany Stratton will get her rematch at NXT No Mercy.
Becky Lynch returned to the NXT ring for the first time since 2019 on September 12, and she defeated Tiffany Stratton to win the NXT Women's Championship for the first time in her career.
Lynch kicked off the September 19 episode of NXT and celebrated her win. She made it clear that Stratton would get a rematch whenever she wanted, as the former champion impressed her. Stratton came out and challenged Lynch to a match at NXT No Mercy on September 30. Lynch accepted the challenge and stated that Stratton wasn't hungry enough. They brawled, and Kiana James got involved.

WWE then confirmed the title match for the premium live event.
Later in the show, Stratton and James were set to face Lynch in a handicap match. Lyra Valkyria made the save, and she joined forces with Lynch to defeat the duo. Stratton attacked Lynch with a chair after the bell, but her actions only infuriated the champion. Lynch stated that their bout at NXT No Mercy would be an Extreme Rules match.

Lynch has already defended the title at live events, and she also retained it against Natalya on the September 18 episode of WWE Raw. Fightful Select reported that Lynch was initially set to face Tegan Nox, but plans changed.
