El Inmortal wants The Best Bout Machine.
Titán spoke with Julio César Rivera on CMLL's news show, "CMLL Informa" regarding his particaption on the Lucha Gaunlet in New Japan Pro-Wrestling's joint event with Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre, All Elite Wrestling, and Ring of Honor "Wrestle Dynasty".
While he did not walk out victorious from said match, Titán talked about his experience as a part of the event, including sharing the locker room with Kenny Omega and Zack Sabre Jr., and even spoke about his desire to have a marquee match against a top name in the near future. He stated the following: "I am thankful to NJPW, CMLL & Los Ingobernables. It was a great experience being in this grand event. Being in the locker room reminded me how I was backstage with wrestlers I respect, like Kenny Omega and Zack Sabre Jr. Just being around some of the best around the world and being considered part of this big event is something huge for me. I will continue to work to get a singles match against any of the top names in an event of this magnitude.".
When asked by Rivera of any specific names he wanted to name, Titán said he was interested in facing former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Taiji Ishimorii and none other than former AEW World Champion and IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega as two of the big names he was intrigued in facing. He stated the following: "Of course I would like to face (Taiji) Ishimorii, but someone who comes to mind as a personal goal of mine is Kenny Omega. We have been in the same tournaments but I have never faced him in singles action. We are still happy with our participation, but we want to continue growing, participating & getting more opportunities.".
Ishimorii himself ended up winning the Lucha Gaunlet that Titán particpated in at NJPW Wrestle Dynasty, with Soberano Jr., Mascara Dorada, Kosei Fujita, Master Wato, Hechicero & El Desperado also participating in the match. Omega also wrestled at Wrestle Dynasty, defeating Gabe Kidd in a sensational match in the semi-main event of the show. Omega is set to face Brian Cage at AEW Maximum Carnage on January 15.
