Titus O'Neil Shares His Sons Reaction To His Fall During The 'Greatest Royal Rumble' Match

Titus' fall was converted into a informative lesson.

In honor of Father's Day TV Insider interviewed a WWE superstar who is a great father and activist for his community in his own right, former WWE Tag Team Champion Titus O'Neil. Two months ago during the 50-man 'Greatest Royal Rumble' match in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Titus O'Neil entered in at the #39 spot and as he made his way down the entrance ramp he tripped up and slid underneath the ring in a moment that brought tons of laughter to those who witnessed it once it was clear that Titus was not hurt or injured from the fall.

O'Neil managed to turn what most would consider an embarrassing moment into an enjoyable moment and lesson for his children and himself.

"My boys called me and immediately asked if I was okay. I said yes, then they started dying laughing, and I did too." He said. "I told them I just saw them fall just before I left the house, they fell up the stairs. The only difference between my fall and their fall was that mine was in front of millions of people, but I got back up. My youngest turned around and said, ‘I got back up too.’ We just laughed it off. I tell them how I approach anything. No matter what is dealt to me, I work my way through it. I’m human. People fall all the time daily. It just happened to me with an audience."

It is well-known that Titus O'Neil and former 6-time WWE World Champion Dave Bautista are great friends and that Bautista helped Titus break into the WWE. Titus went on to speak about he and "The Animal's" close friendship.

"We just had a genuine respect for each other. We were neighbors for a long time and I remember one time I went to the gym and saw him one time, and we actually talked about fatherhood. My kids and his kids. I asked him to speak to my kids’ preschool class. I think they were two and four at the time. He did it, and it was a great moment for my kids and the kids in the classroom. It opened up a longstanding relationship between me and him. It’s built on genuine love and respect of what we bring to the table." He said.

Titus O'Neil also went over being a man that his children can look up to, spoke highly of a role model he had growing up, and more. To read the full interview, click here
