Steph De Lander announced during TNA Victory Road that she needed to undergo neck surgery but promised that she would not be retiring and that she had more to give to the industry. A new update from TNA Wrestling sheds some light on how long SDL will be away from TNA.
Gia Miller announced in a video following Victory Road that, pending neck surgery, Steph De Lander would miss anywhere from six to ten months of action.

Before the sudden announcement, Steph De Lander was in a storyline where she was married to PCO and fighting for her freedom from Matt Cardona. Speaking of Cardona, he took advantage of the announcement. He pinned Rhino to give himself and Steph De Lander the victory in a tag team match that became an afterthought after De Lander's emotional revelation.
