Moose made a surprise appearance on the February 18th episode of NXT, confronting NXT Champion Oba Femi.
His night was not over as he was confronted backstage by Heritage Cup Champion Lexis King. King noted that he defeated System member JDC last Tuesday.
Moose then offered him a shot at the TNA X-Division Championship on the February 24th episode of NXT, which King agreed to, seeing as the event is in his hometown of Cincinnati.
