IMPACT! Wrestling has added a familiar voice to their commentary team.
On Wednesday, January 5, it was reported that Matt Striker had finished his run with IMPACT! Wrestling. He joined the team at Hard To Kill 2021 and has been working alongside D'Lo Brown ever since.
Striker tweeted, and then deleted, "I am disappointed that my time with #ImpactonAXSTV is done. I REALLY enjoyed that locker room. Thanks for allowing me to tell your story. Thanks, everyone. Stay safe."
It was unclear who his replacement would be, until now. As broken by Renee Paquette, Tom Hannifan will be joining the IMPACT! announce team. He is best known to wrestling fans for his time in WWE (2012-2021) as Tom Phillips. He was released by the company in May 2021.

Hannifan is set to make his debut for the promotion tonight, January 8, at Hard To Kill. Fightful will have live coverage of the event beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET.
