Tomohiro Ishii returns to AEW.
On the June 26 edition of AEW Dynamite, Kyle O'Reilly faced Zack Sabre Jr. in a singles match. After picking up the victory in the match via submission, Sabre stayed in the ring, prompting Robbie Eagles and Shane Haste to hit the ring. By the time Eagles and Haste arrived to the ring, Orange Cassidy had already left his commentary position to check on O'Reilly.
Despite being surrounded by Sabre, Eagles, Haste, Gabe Kidd, and the Undisputed Kingdom, Tomohiro Ishii hit the ring and prevented Orange Cassidy from being attacked.
