AEW did it.
That's according to AEW owner Tony Khan who, while tweeting during a special Sunday night episode of AEW Collision, touted the fact that in just a few short weeks, AEW Dynamite will officially become the longest-running professional wrestling show on TNT; or on any Turner Network, for that matter.
On April 16, 2025, AEW will air its 289th episode of Dynamite. AEW's flagship show began airing on October 2nd, 2019, and it continues to air every week.
In a post on Twitter/X, Tony Khan responded to AEW on TV's Twitter/X page, who wrote that AEW Dynamite would become "the longest-running prime-time wrestling show in Turner Sports History LIVE on Wednesday April 16th!"
Khan simply wrote, "We did it!"

This week, on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, Dynamite will air its 286th episode of Dynamite. March 26 is a date that is engrained in the minds of some wrestling historians, as that date, in 2001, marked the final episode of WCW Nitro.
WCW Nitro aired its very first episode on Sept. 4, 1995 and its last episode aired on March 26, 2001. The total number of episodes was 288 and many of those episodes featured classic matches and moments, such as Goldberg winning the WCW Championship, Sting descending from the rafters to take on the nWo, and Mike Awesome becoming the "Fat Chick Thrilla."
AEW has produced its own share of memorable segments and breathtaking matchups, such as Bryan Danielson vs. Kenny Omega, Brodie Lee vs. Cody Rhodes, and Sue being behind the wheel of her minivan.
The updated card for the March 26th episode of AEW Dynamite is below.
