Tony Khan is taking action to ensure the safety of anyone in All Elite Wrestling who might be impacted by Hurricane Ian.
The storm is expected to bring plenty of rain and substantial flooding throughout Florida, and President Biden has already declared an emergency due to these conditions.
With this in mind, Khan, the president of AEW, took to Twitter to make sure that his employees got the message that coming to the television taping is voluntary this week due to the hurricane. He noted that anyone affected by it can take care of business at home, and he hopes to see everyone next week.
For everyone in @AEW, in case you missed our email, anyone worried about Hurricane Ian affecting your travel or home or your family life, it’s voluntary to come to tv this week.

AEW Dynamite will be held in Philadelphia in Wednesday, September 28. (Check out the updated card here.) Plenty of people on the AEW roster likely live in Florida or have family members that do.
Fightful sends its best wishes to everyone impacted by the hurricane.
