Tony Khan comments on The Briscoes status.
Fightful Select reported on March 11, "The Briscoes weren't planned to be signed by All Elite Wrestling. It should be stated that we're not even sure of the interest on All Elite Wrestling's part, but if was confirmed to us by WarnerMedia sources that a person of influence in the company did not want the duo signed to AEW, specifically due to Jay Briscoe's homophobic tweets from 2013."
Jay has since apologized again for his past comments and the Briscoes (Mark & Jay Briscoe) were part of ROH Supercard of Honor, losing the ROH Tag Team Titles to FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler).
Appearing on the Beef Vegan show, Tony Khan was asked about the possibility of the Briscoes appearing on TNT.
"I'm not sure when we'll see the Briscoes next, but they are a huge part of Ring of Honor and I hope to see them again soon," he said.
Since ROH Supercard, The Briscoes have joined IMPACT Wrestling where they are the reigning IMPACT Tag Team Champions.
It is unknown when ROH will hold another event, but Khan hopes to bring back the promotion in a weekly TV format and resume running pay-per-view events.
