Tony Khan says he will change plans accordingly.
Tropical Storm Debby is currently affecting the East Coast, and it is causing severe flooding, among other issues, leading to flights getting canceled. The August 7th episode of AEW Dynamite is being held at he Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, so these travel issues could loom large on the show.
Tony Khan took to Twitter/X and acknowledged the flight cancellations. He said that several wrestlers were struggling to get to the show. Khan wrote that everyone announced for the show was there or en route. He stated that he had held back on other announcements anticipating travel mayhem, and he would change plans accordingly.
