Tony Khan: I'm The Controlling Owner Of AEW, I Have 100% Voting Control Of The Business

Tony Khan has 100% of the voting power in AEW.

On Wednesday, October 2, Sports Business Journal wrote up their own story on AEW's new media rights deal with Warner Bros Discovery. In the story, the outlet mentioned that Warner Bros Discovery has a ownership stake in AEW.

During the AEW WrestleDream media call, Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp asked Tony Khan about the validity of the report. Khan refused to get into details about AEW's ownership structure, instead saying that he has 100% of the voting stock in AEW.

"It’s a fair question. I will not get into our ownership structure beyond saying I have 100% of the voting stock in this company and have since the beginning and hold the vast majority of shares. I think that’s fair to say. As the sole voting owner and the vast majority shareholder of the company, I think that speaks volumes and I’m the controlling owner with 100% voting control of the business."

That settles that.
