Tony Khan doesn't want to walk about wrestlers who work elsewhere.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider recently reported that Ricochet gave WWE his notice of his intent to leave the company when his contract expires this summer. On the June 10 episode of WWE Raw, Bron Breakker viciously attacked Ricochet, who was loaded into an ambulance. The former WWE Intercontinental Champion has been linked to AEW ahead of his potential free agency.
In an interview with Scott Fishman of TV Insider, AEW CEO Tony Khan was asked to share his thoughts on Ricochet as a talent.
"If it’s okay, I’d rather not get into wrestlers that still work for someone else," Khan said.
Ricochet has been with WWE since 2018. In the past, he has wrestled for NJPW, Dragon Gate, and Lucha Underground, among other companies. He has history with a number of stars on the AEW roster, including Will Ospreay.
AEW International Champion Will Ospreay recently expressed his interest in facing Ricochet again and said that there were people in AEW who appreciated his work. Check out his comments here.
