Tony Khan provides updates on Jamie Hayter and Britt Baker.
Fans haven't seen Britt Baker in the ring since September 2023 when she lost to Kris Statlander in an AEW TBS Title bout. Baker has said that she looks forward to getting back, but it is unclear when she will return.
Speaking to Raj Prashad of Uproxx Sports, Tony Khan was asked about the status of Baker.
“Dr. Britt Baker is one of our original stars and she’s been out injured for an extended period of time. I’m very eager to get Britt back here. She’s somebody that’s been part of AEW all along. And we’d love to have her back in the mix very soon,” he said.
Jamie Hayter has been out of action for over a year, last wrestling at AEW Double or Nothing 2023 when she lost the AEW Women's Title to Toni Storm.
Baker and Hayter were aligned with Hayter was sidelined with an injury.
Speaking about Hayter's status, Khan said, "Her longtime friend, and also a former AEW Women’s world champion Jamie Hayter has also been out for an extended period of time with injury. Jamie Hayter’s timetable is still pending. But I think having Jamie Hayter back in AEW would be fantastic. And I would love to have Jamie Hayter back working in AEW anytime and whenever she’s healthy and capable of doing it would be great for us.”
It is unknown when Hayter will return to the ring.
