Tony Khan says he can't comment.
BJ Whitmer, who was a producer for AEW/ROH at the time, was arrested in June 2023 and later indicted on charges of first-degree strangulation and second-degree burglary in September. The alleged victim, Jaime Hawn, came forward about the situation as well. Earlier in December, Hawn launched a GoFundMe campaign and detailed the struggles she had faced in recent months, noting that she had lost her home, and she was in danger of losing her children due to a CPS investigation because she was homeless, and she had no available resources for shelter.
Hawn alleged that she was homeless "as a result of careless, egotistical and inhumane actions of AEW (All Elite Wrestling) and Chris Peck", who worked as one of AEW's legal counsel, she claimed that Peck "single-handedly" had an outcome of the case, and she was "robbed of any chance of justice when Chris Peck breached the terms of the very NDA he forced me to sign at one of my most desperate moments." Hawn also alleged that Peck "wrongfully provided an inaccurate description of my intentions and false context of my engagement with AEW (Megha Parekh), dating back to June 2023," and that he lied to the prosecution and the defense attorney. She also claimed that AEW had been made aware of the situation.
During the AEW Worlds End media call, Tony Khan was asked whether he could comment on Jaime Hawn's allegations, and he said that he could not.
"I cannot. Thanks for asking," Khan said.
Fightful will provide more information about the situation as it becomes available.
