Tony Schiavone Confirms Martha Hart Gave Blessing To Sting Dropping From The Rafters On AEW Dynamite

Tony Schiavone confirms that Martha Hart gave her blessing for Sting to descend from the rafters one last time.

On the final AEW Dynamite of Sting's wrestling career, The Young Bucks would target Darby Allin, beating him down until Sting's music would hit. The Jackson brothers would move to the top of the ramp in preparation for Sting's arrival, but Sting came from another familiar direction as he descended from the rafters one final time to make the save for his tag team partner.

Fightful Select reported following the spot that Martha Hart had given her blessing to Tony Khan for the spot to go ahead. On a recent What Happened When episode, Tony Schiavone would confirm this report.

"Tony [Tony Khan] did call Martha Hart, I was there when he fucking called her. He told me, ‘Go let Sting, Darby, and the Bucks know that Martha Hart and I have talked and she has given it her blessing.’ I went and told them what the communication was. Would not have done it without first talking to Martha Hart."

Sting finished off his career at AEW Revolution last weekend, defeating The Young Bucks alongside Darby Allin to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships in the main event of the show.

Jim Ross recently commented on Darby Allin's incredible glass spot during the match. You can read more about that here.
