Trent Beretta and Chuck Taylor, collectively known as Best Friends, have been with AEW since 2019. They have challenged for titles on multiple occasions, but they have yet to win a championship during their time in the company. However, the duo still have their sights set on winning the AEW World Tag Tag Team Championship
At the Starrcast media scrum (via SP3 of Tru Heel Heat Wrestling), Trent and Chuck were asked about trying to match Orange Cassidy’s success as AEW International Champion and finally winning the AEW World Tag Team Championships in order to buy Sue new rims. Trent made it clear that they're going for the big one. Chuck stated that the tag titles have always been a goal of theirs, and he joked that they suck.
Trent Beretta: That would be cool. Is it extra pressure because Orange is champion? No, it’s the same amount. We’re going for the big one guys.
Chuck Taylor: It’s always been a goal of ours and it remains a goal of ours to get the tag team titles. We had a lot of shots, we suck.
TB: What the fuck? Guys, we’re gonna win the big one. That’s the big headline that will be taken out of proportion even though it’s not. The headline of this press conference is ‘We suck.’ No, we’re gonna win the big one, come on.
