Together they are 'British Strong Style'.
Trent Seven, Tyler Bate, and the current WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne have traveled the world together, competed against and alongside one another. This upcoming Monday during the WWE United Kingdom Championship tournament tapings the trio will be taking on another trio that is seemingly "dripping in gold", The Undisputed Era (Roderick Strong, Adam Cole & Kyle O'Reilly).
The tapings will take place inside of the infamous 'Royal Albert Hall ' in London and ahead of the aforementioned six-man tag team match, the Daily Star were able to catch up with 1/3rd of British Strong Style, Trent Seven. Trent shared high praise for his tag team partners stating that both or one of them will one day be challenging for the WWE Championship.
“I think without a shadow of a doubt there will be [a British WWE Champion]. I think you would have a pretty safe bet to say one of, or both of, Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne will be competing for the world championship. Just the quality they are putting out physically, their look and they way they present themselves. They are putting so much effort into every angle of it. The boys are superstars." He said.
It will be the first time that WWE has held an event at the 'Royal Albert Hall' in 27 years and it will be a historic occasion for all involved. Trent Seven went on to discuss his thoughts on competing at the venue and the resurgence of British wrestling.
“It is absolutely mental to be back the Royal Albert Hall. I definitely watched the [1991 show] and had it on VHS. Now fast forward 27 years and British wrestling is back on the biggest stage it possibly could be.” He added, “There were a few doldrum moments for British wrestling a few years ago. I remember I used to see posters for shows in sports hall with some horrendous specimens and horrendous quality wrestling, but there was some absolutely gems in there, and they were trying to make it better, and now the competition is so good and healthy, week after week standards are getting raised and the lads are getting better.”
Along with the six man tag match there are also a number of other big fight bouts that will be taking place during the WWE U.K. Championship tournament special including the finals of the tourney. For more information on that, click here.
