Tuesday's WWE NXT got electrified as The Rock appeared on the show, marking the first time he had been on NXT TV.
The Rock was in Los Angeles for the Golden Globes and WWE Raw on Netflix premiere. His daughter Ava is the GM of the brand.
Speaking to Mike Jones of DC 101, former NXT Champion Trick Williams commented on The Rock's appearance.
"Absolutely. Who could have imagined The Rock being at NXT, ever. NXT, especially over the past two or three years, we've raised NXT to new heights. You never know what you're going to see on a Tuesday night. I love it," he said.
The Rock closed the show with a promo and had a backstage segment with Ethan Page.
