Triple H Confirms WWE SmackDown Will Switch Back To Two Hours

To start 2025, WWE SmackDown moved to three hours with the first three hour episode taking place on January 3rd.

It was reported by WrestleVotes on WrestleVotes radio, "the 'chatter' in WWE is that SmackDown will be three hours long until June 2025, when it will go back to a two-hour show."

Speaking to Pat McAfee on the Pat McAfee Show, Triple H confirmed WWE SmackDown would move back to two hours, though he didn't say when.

"Yes, for right now (it is three hours), and then it switches back to two," he said about the runtime of WWE SmackDown.

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics noted, "I've been informed Smackdown is planned to return to a 2-hour format beginning in June."

Fightful will provide more details on WWE SmackDown moving back to two hours when it is unknown.
