Triple H: As Good As NXT Is Now, It's Only Going To Get Better

Triple H is excited about the future of NXT.

NXT is headed to USA Network on Sept. 18, and NXT Founder Triple H is ready to show the world what's next. WWE cameras caught up with Triple H following the announcement to reflect on NXT's journey to this point and the future of the brand.

"It's been a crazy journey, something that I don't think most people would have thought would ever happen, but this was the vision of it," said Triple H. "From starting out with a partnership with Full Sail University and having to bring in main roster stars to have enough people to put the show on each week to. We got to the point where they didn't want to see the main roster stars anymore. We stopped calling it main roster because NXT was becoming white-hot when we didn't even have a distribution home for it. We were the first live show on the WWE Network with NXT Arrival, which was the first sort-of TakeOver we did. A year after that, we were selling out the Barclays Center for TakeOvers. Selling out all over the globe."

Triple H continued, "And now, the opportunity to go on the #1 cable network, USA. I couldn't be happier or more proud. I said it in the beginning; this is going to be [the fans] brand. As good as NXT is now, it's only going to get better. This is going to expose a whole new side of NXT that people haven't been able to see. As excited as everybody is about this moment, this is the start. This isn't the destination."

By moving to USA Network, NXT will now run for two hours, and air live every week. You can find more information on the deal by clicking here.
