WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart made his return on the September 9th episode of WWE Raw, which was held in Calgary, Alberts, Canada. He was interrupted by World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, who said that Goldberg was his all-time favorite. Sami Zayn then came out and defended Hart. "The Hitman" also appeared in a brief backstage segment with Natalya.
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H took to Twitter/X and wrote that Calgary would always be Hart Country, and he thanked Bret Hart for stopping by. The post included a clip of Triple H embracing Hart and thanking him backstage.

Bret Hart had been absent from WWE programming in recent years. His presence on Monday marked the latest return of a legend, as Jesse Ventura recently attended WWE Raw in Minnesota in July.
