Triple H Sees NXT Roster Turnover As A Strength

Triple H does not see a problem with new faces on NXT.

In a conference call following NXT Takeover: New Orleans, Triple H told ESPN that some fans have said the turnover of the NXT roster can be a detriment to the brand because the most popular people must start over when they go to the main roster. Triple H said having all new faces this year compared to last year's NXT Takeover: Orlando shows NXT has what it takes to promote stars.

"It's about new talent. I think it's the strength. I can look at almost every card...when we go to Brooklyn, almost every year I can look at that card and there's nobody on it from the year before. I can look at this card tonight, I'm not really sure who's on it from last year's WrestleMania (weekend) card. It's very small, and when you look at the main roster. I think there's two matches on that card that don't have somebody from NXT," said Triple H.

As Triple H pointed out, WrestleMania 34 which was the night after the NXT event in New Orleans had NXT alumni in nearly every match. Fightful Wrestling had live coverage and a recapping podcast for both NXT Takeover: New Orleans and WrestleMania 34. There is also live coverage every week for the broadcasts of NXT.
