Trish Stratus Says There Was Some Concern That If You Didn't Do What Vince McMahon Asked, You'd Be Punished On-Screen

Trish Stratus is one of the most decorated females in WWE history as a multi-time WWE Women's Champion and a WWE Hall of Famer.

Trish went from a manager who flaunted her T&A to an accomplished in-ring performer during her time in the company.

She was asked to do many things as a performer, including kiss another female performer.

"There was a bit of concern amongst performers that if you didn't do what you were asked, that you would get punished. Yeah, it did happen to some on occasion, sometimes," Trish said on "Mr. McMahon," pointing to herself. "There was one time where I was the champion at the time, and then suddenly I was in a scene where I was gonna be making out with a female, which I didn't think my character wanted to do. Was it a coincidence that I lost the championship the next week? Maybe. Maybe I got punished. I'm not sure."

The title loss referenced was when Trish lost the WWE Women's Title to Mickie James at WrestleMania 22.

Janel Grant, a former WWE employee, filed a lawsuit in January against Vince McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis. The lawsuit accuses McMahon of sexual assault and sex trafficking. On May 30, Grant agreed to pause the lawsuit for six months while the federal investigation continued against McMahon, who resigned from TKO/WWE following the lawsuit being filed.
