Tyler Bate Says He Is "Here To Stay" After SmackDown Debut On 1/5

Tyler Bate is here to stay.

On the Januardy 5th edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Butch required a partner for a tag team matchup with Pretty Deadly. It would be a British Strong Style reunion on the blue brand this week, as Tyler Bate made his WWE main roster debut following a lengthy stretch in WWE NXT and NXT UK.

As of late, the two men have been allied up down in NXT as Butch had a short rivalry with NXT Heritage Cup holder Noam Dar, with Bate featuring as Butch's second in the bout between the two men. On SmackDown, the two men scored a big victory over Pretty Deadly.

In a post match digital exclusive, Bate would celebrate his victory and main roster debut, noting that he is here to stay on Friday Nights.

"It’s been a long time coming but the Big Strong Boi has finally arrived on SmackDown, and I am here to stay!"

Elsewhere on Friday's edition of SmackDown, Randy Orton, LA Knight and AJ Styles looked to earn a championship opportunity in a triple threat number one contenders match. You can read more about that here.
