WWE Royal Rumble took place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indiana and Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton attended the event.
Haliburton has made multiple appearances on WWE TV over the years including a confrontation with New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson at Madison Square Garden.
Speaking to Pat McAfee on the Pat McAfee Show, Haliburton was asked why he wasn't in the Rumble.
"I wanted to be in the Rumble. Me and Triple H talked about it. He was like, 'A lot of people are asking if you're going to be in the Rumble. I just laughed in their face.' 'What the fuck?' I think he was a little scared about me doing it in the middle of the season. Remember when Brunson got in there and pushed himself up with the broken hand and Triple H kind of had a heart attack?" asked Haliburton.
The Pacers had a game on Saturday afternoon before the Rumble and are currently making a playoff push in the Eastern Conference.
