UFC Welterweight Champion Belal Muhammad wants to declare for the WWE Royal Rumble.
WWE and UFC are under the same umbrella with TKO Group Holdings housing both of the sports entertainment juggernauts. Still, even without that link, many UFC fighters are WWE fans and vice versa. UFC Welterweight Champion Belal Muhammad has now stated that he wants to enter the Royal Rumble.
Speaking with Cathy Kelley at UFC 311, he said that he's been a lifelong fan of wrestling and even asked if CM Punk could help him declare for the Royal Rumble this year.
"I've been training for this my whole life like I've been ready. I've been thinking about WWE. I was wrestling off the garage in my house, jumping into the snow; Ladder Matches, I've been doing wrestling since I was a kid. I'm ready to go into the ring, too. So we need to declare for the Rumble. Who do we need to talk to? Punk, help me out, brother, let's go."
