One match still bothers The Undertaker years later.
The Undertaker had numerous classic matches throughout his career. He had many memorable matches at WrestleMania as well. At WWE WrestleMania 33, he faced Roman Reigns in a high-profile match where Reigns emerged victorious. At the time, the match seemingly marked his swansong, as he left his coat and hat in the ring after the bell.
Reigns was victorious in the bout and the following night on WWE Raw stood in the ring, showered with boos, and declared WWE "his yard now."
Speaking on his Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker commented on his WrestleMania match against Roman Reigns when it came up in the conversation.
“That still bothers me. Not that I lost, but I was just…I stayed a little long. I stayed a little long. I didn’t have enough for him that I would have liked to have given him. At that point, my body was shutting down. Yeah, I shouldn’t have been in that match, but [shrugs], anyway," The Undertaker said.
The Undertaker later teamed up with Roman Reigns at WWE Extreme Rules 2019. He had his last match at WWE WrestleMania 36.
