Undertaker Wasn't Fond Of The Casting Choice For His 'Young Rock' Character, Jokes He'd Cast Urkel As Rock In 'Young Undertaker'

Undertaker really didn't like the hat given to his character on the NBC series "Young Rock."

Young Rock was a series on NBC portraying the life of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in a comedic and over-the-top fashion.

Not everything was incredibly true to life. For example, the antagonistic Chad Frost was never truly a character on WWE television. When it comes to The Undertaker, Josh Rawiri did his best to portray "The Phenom" but The Undertaker still took exception to parts of the portrayal, specifically the hat given to the character to wear.

Speaking on a Patreon exclusive Q&A for his Six Feet Under podcast, Undertaker talked about the portrayal of his character on the sitcom and joked that he would pay The Rock back by casting Steve Urkel to portray him if he ever had a sitcom of his own.

"It's a comedy, right? So there has to be some elements of, I guess, the casting in some comedic light. What pissed me off about the whole damn thing was my hat. The hat really pissed me off. I didn't like the hat. They gave me some kind of just black clown hat. So because I didn't like the hat I would, if it was 'Young Taker,' and I had to cast The Rock, I don't maybe Urkel or somebody."

Since waiting for a sitcom of his own to cast Jaleel White as The Rock would take too long, Undertaker settled for getting revenge on The Rock by ruining his WrestleMania XL plans and helping Cody Rhodes defeat Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
