Roman Reigns will have no help at the Royal Rumble.
The January 21 episode of SmackDown kicked off with Seth Rollins challenging the Usos to a tag team match where if he won, they would be barred from ringside for the Universal Championship match at the Royal Rumble. After the Usos accepted, Rollins revealed Kevin Owens to be his partner. Roman Reigns, however, interjected and said that if the Usos won, Rollins would relinquish his title match and he would go on vacation until WrestleMania.
The two teams faced off in the main event of SmackDown, with Rollins and Owens scoring the victory via disqualification after Roman Reigns entered the ring and Superman Punched Rollins after he hit a Stomp. As a result, Jimmy and Jey are barred from ringside when Roman defends his Universal Title versus Rollins at the Royal Rumble next Saturday night.
