Speaking on a recent episode of her "Excuse Me!" podcast, Guerrero revealed that WWE won't allow superstars to be interviewed on her podcast due to recent appearances she made for AEW. Guerrero did commentary for AEW Dark on Dec. 17 and was a special guest on Chris Jericho's Rock N Wrestling Rager at Sea: Part Deux.

"I had asked to interview some superstars for my podcast and they found out I went to AEW and now they don't even talk to me. They didn't call me for two years, I hadn't heard from them. What did they expect me to do? Sit here and wait for them so I could do some work? I love wrestling and love to work in the ring. If someone is giving me the opportunity to show up and have some fun, I should be able to. I'm not obligated to anybody. To be part of a promotion, or anyone, you should encourage the people that are in the other promotions because it’s about everyone showing their talent and their craft. There's enough jobs and promotions to let everybody work and contribute. When someone tells me I couldn't interview the superstars because I went to AEW, I was just like, 'Wow, they're gonna be like that.' You quietly move on, see how they are, and take care of your own business," she said.

Guerrero interviewed Edge on the first episode of her podcast and Ruby Riott on the following episode. Since then, she has had a blend of former WWE stars and current AEW and NWA stars on her podcast.
