As for John Cena's speech, it was just that. There were no shenanigans.
John Cena shared with the crowd in Laredo Texas that he is grateful for the last 20 years. He says WWE has made him a better person. He also said he doesn't know when he will be back in the ring, but reassured the audience that even at the age of 45, he will have more than just one match.
John Cena said that this moment was about “we” and we never give up.
