Vince McMahon Says He Doesn't Regret Not Hiring Eric Bischoff In 1990, 'I Don't Really Regret Anything In My Life'

Eric Bischoff auditioned to be an announcer for WWF in 1990.

He went on to get hired by WCW as an announcer in 1991. Bischoff worked his way up the ranks in WCW, becoming the Executive Producer to Senior Vice President in 1994 and eventually the President of WCW.

Bischoff and WCW Nitro famously defeated WWE Raw for 83 weeks during the Monday Night War.

"Do I regret not hiring Eric Bischoff? No. I don't really regret anything in my life," Vince said on his "Mr. McMahon" documentary.

Vince and WWE would win the Monday Night War with Vince purchasing WCW in 2001. Bischoff would join WWE in 2002 as the new on-screen general manger.

Janel Grant, a former WWE employee, filed a lawsuit in January against Vince McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis. The lawsuit accuses McMahon of sexual assault and sex trafficking. On May 30, Grant agreed to pause the lawsuit for six months while the federal investigation continued against McMahon, who resigned from TKO/WWE following the lawsuit.
