NXT is bringing out all its top stars for the special two-hour live episode to kick off its USA Network run with multiple NXT UK stars making an appearance.
On the second hour of NXT, which aired on the USA Network, saw UK champion WALTER and his Imperium stable consisting of Fabian Aichner, Marcel Barthel and Alexander Wolfe make a surprise appearance. The two interrupted a match featuring KUSHIDA that hadn’t started at that point and the two sides confronted each other.
Both sides came to blows with KUSHIDA landing a jumping kick to WALTER before leaving the ring.

But Imperium's night wasn't over as they interfered in the Street Fight between Matt Riddle and Killian Dain, attacking Riddle and inciting a mass brawl that would take over the match.

That’s not the only news on an appearance in NXT. A vignette aired featuring the return of Dakota Kai and it was announced that she would be returning to the September 25 episode of NXT. Kai had been injured throughout 2019 with a torn ACL and was recently cleared to compete.
