Will Ospreay has said his goodbyes to New Japan Pro Wreslting.
At NJPW New Beginning in Osaka on February 11th, The War Dogs and United Empire squared off in a huge WarGames match. The match was a brutal and emotional affair, as it was the final bout for Will Ospreay in the promotion for the foreseeable future. In the end, The War Dogs captured the win.

Following the bout, which lasted over an hour, Ospreay would say his goodbyes to New Japan Pro Wrestling in an emotional moment. The crowd in Osaka would loudly chant the Aerial Assasin's name, with Will attempting to fight off tears. Ospreay would join his United Empire compatriots in throwing up the crowns one more time to end the show.

In backstage comments after the match, Ospreay noted that he will still be allowed to work NJPW dates with his AEW contract, noting that he is scared about heading to America and AEW.
Ospreay now has one more date left outside of All Elite Wrestling, as he will face off with Michael Oku for the British Heavyweight Championship at RevPro High Stakes on February 18th.
