It is the end of an era.
To open tonight's NXT TakeOver at the 'Talking Stick Resort' arena in Phoenix, Arizona, Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong of The Undisputed ERA defended their NXT Tag Team Championships against Raymond Rowe and "Warbeard" Hanson. The War Raiders emerged victorious from the match and ended the reign of The Undisputed ERA to become NXT Tag Team Champions.

The action was hot from the get-go as both teams have squared off a number of times so they were familiar with one another's material and although Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong always show up big at the TakeOver shows, War Raiders were just a step above them and that allowed for the modern-day Vikings to capture their first titles in the WWE.
