Wheeler Yuta comments on Blood & Guts.
The Blackpool Combat Club and The Elite will go to war again on July 19 when the two teams meet inside Blood & Guts.
It marks the second straight year the BCC will compete in Blood & Guts. They defeated the Jericho Appreciation Society in 2022.
Speaking to Battle & Eli on Battleground, Wheeler Yuta commented on the upcoming bout.
"To get some revenge for the Sixers, I might throw some things around the TD Garden," he joked, referencing the Boston Celtics defeating the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA playoffs. "My goal is to come out with the win. After having last year's Blood & Guts, I have more sense of the match and know how to use the tools a little bit better. I never had a cage match before that. Now, I know how to use the cage and all these things to our advantage. Having the man advantage is a big deal. It's like a bunch of mini handicap matches. Knowing how to take all those elements and use them to our advantage is going to be a big thing. I would love to get another win. That would be my ultimate goal, to win this one for the BCC, but as long as we get our hands raised, I don't really care how it happens."
When asked who he thought would bleed first in the bout, Yuta stated, "I think we're going to bust open Nick Jackson first."
Before BCC and the Elite collide in Blood & Guts, Yuta will take on Kenny Omega on Wednesday's AEW Dynamite. Yuta pinned Omega in the Anarchy In The Arena match at AEW Double or Nothing.
