Will Ospreay comments on beating Kenny Omega.
At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, Will Ospreay challenged Kenny Omega for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship. Omega previously defeated Ospreay to win the title at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17. The two rivals battled it out at the June 25 pay-per-view, and interference from Don Callis helped Ospreay score the win.
In a tweet, Ospreay commented on his victory by stating that Omega is once in a life time, as no one will ever be able to master the craft the way he has. He wrote that overcoming Omega was the most challenging and yet rewarding task of his life, and the former champion is above elite.
