Willow Nightingale won the CMLL Women's World Title at NJPW-CMLL FantasticaMania on July 13, defeating Lluvia and Viva Van in a triple threat match.

The finish saw Willow pin Viva Van with the Babe With The Bomb.

This marks the first reign at CMLL Women's World Champion for Willow. She is the first US-born champion in the title's history.

Stephanie Vaquer was the previous CMLL Women's World Champion, but she was stripped of the title on Wednesday when it was announced she would be leaving the promotion. Vaquer officially signed with WWE on Wednesday evening.
