World Historic Middleweight Title Eliminator, More Set for Friday's CMLL Viernes Espectacular

The full card for CMLL's Viernes Espectacular has been unveiled.

CMLL announced on their social media the card for the 11/8 edition of their weekly show "Viernes Espectacular", taking place from the mythical Arena Mexico.

The show will feature an eliminator match to crown a new CMLL World Historic Middleweight Champion after Místico relinquished the belt due to moving weight classes to Light Heavyweight. As part of the Eliminator, Flip Gordon, Neon, Dragón Rojo Jr., Difunto, and current CMLL National Middleweight Champion Guerrero Maya Jr. will be competing as part of the eliminator. No specifics have been unveiled as to whether this will be the only eliminator, but Fightful will provide all the updates as more information is unveiled.

Also on the show, Místico will team with Atlantis Jr. & Máscara Dorada against the team of Soberano Jr., Angel de Oro & Hechicero in a 2/3 Falls Trios Match. Esfinge will also be in action, as he will defend his CMLL National Light Heavyweight Title against one-half of the CMLL National Tag Team Champions, Rugido, and Los Dulces AtrapaSueños (Rey Cometa, Dulce Gardenia & Espiritu Negro) will face La Ola Negra (Espanto Jr., Dark Magic & Raider).   • 2/3 Falls Match: Los Dulces AtrapaSueños (Rey Cometa, Dulce Gardenia & Espiritu Negro) vs. La Ola Negra (Espanto Jr., Dark Magic & Raider).
  • CMLL National Light Heavyweight Championship Match: Esfinge (c) vs. Rugido.
  • CMLL World Historic Middleweight Championship - Eliminator Match: Flip Gordon, Neon, Dragón Rojo Jr., Difunto, Guerrero Maya Jr. participate.
  • 2/3 Falls Match: Místico, Atlantis Jr. & Máscara Dorada vs. Soberano Jr., Angel de Oro & Hechicero.
