Here are the surprises, debuts and returns that occurred during the 2019 Men's Royal Rumble match:

- WWE Hall Of Famer Jeff Jarrett entered the Royal Rumble match at the #2 spot and confronted Elias.

- Kurt Angle entered the Rumble at the #4 spot. Kurt was eliminated by Shinsuke Nakamura.


- The new NXT North American Champion Johnny Gargano came in at the #6 spot.


- Titus O'Neil stopped himself from falling on the way to the ring and chased after Curt Hawkins and Hawkins ended up eliminating Titus.

- No Way Jose was eliminated as soon as he stepped in the ring.


- The WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne entered at the #18 spot and made an instant impact.
